Lin Zhao, once the young master of the Lin family, was framed by his trusted brother over the family heirloom 'Nine-Dragon Chessboard' and fell off a cliff—everyone thought he was dead. Five years later, he returns disguised as 'Shang Jue' and lays out a series of schemes: he traps his betraying brother in a financial scam, makes his greedy uncles expose their embezzlement, and humiliates his former fiancée at her wedding. When the enemies finally realize 'Shang Jue' is Lin Zhao, they’ve already fallen into his trap with no way out. What he wants isn’t just revenge, but to uncover the truth behind the Lin family’s destruction years ago, letting all sins be vindicated in his chess game.
