Village lad Lin Chuan is forced to return home after an accident leaves him mentally impaired, seeking shelter with his widowed sister-in-law Su Xiaomei. Though "foolish," his hands hold a strange power—when he massages Xiaomei’s chronic waist pain, he surprisingly eases her years-long ailment. Xiaomei’s heart flutters for this clumsy yet caring man. But the village tyrant, jealous of Xiaomei’s affection for Lin Chuan, storms in and shoves him into a millstone, knocking him unconscious. In his coma, Lin Chuan enters a mysterious consciousness space and meets fox fairy Bai Ling, who gifts him the Chaos Jade Plate (capable of reviving the dead) and an ancient medical scripture! When he wakes up, he’s still the "foolish Chuanzi," but when his fingers touch the Jade Plate, it glows faintly—how will he use this legacy to protect Xiaomei? And how will he uncover the truth behind his impairment?
