Lin Chuan, a programmer who stayed up late fixing bugs, suffered a heart attack and woke up as a three-month-old husky! Su Xiao, a policewoman newly transferred to the community police station, thought his eyes resembled her deceased partner so much that she immediately adopted him as a "trainee security dog." Just as he was worrying about adapting to his "dog life," he bound to the "Vanguard of Justice System"—with a sharp sense of smell to detect drugs in parcels, a "rocket headbutt" to break open gangsters' doors, and the ability to understand human speech to help Su Xiao gather clues! But as a husky with destruction instinct in his DNA, he has to complete the system's anti-crime tasks while hiding his "human soul": when Su Xiao works overtime, he secretly hides her instant noodles and brings her his "stashed" chicken breast; when tracking a suspect, he almost gets lured away by a roadside butterfly, luckily the system gave an "electric shock warning" in time! Su Xiao also gradually noticed this husky was "unusual": it would wipe her tears with its paw when she cried, pounce on a gangster to bite his wrist when he raised a knife, and even understand the command "go check the surveillance"! When Lin Chuan helped Su Xiao solve a drug trafficking case related to her deceased partner, the system suddenly issued the ultimate task: "Find out why you were reborn as a husky"—and the answer was hidden in the unsent love letter Su Xiao wrote to her partner years ago?
