Modern office worker Lin Xiaoman picked up an old jade plaque carved with rice seedlings after overtime until midnight. She woke up in a 1958 northwest rural village—her family’s rice jar was empty, grandma fainted by the stove, and siblings clutched tree bark to their mouths. Lin Xiaoman must quietly fill the grain jar with the space while protecting her family from the era’s tide—can she save her loved ones in the famine?
