Ye Xiyao, a terminally ill young woman, is bound to a "Life-Saving System" that requires her to finish 20 "directive missions" for CEO He Yanci to survive—from bringing him hot coffee to faking a heartfelt confession, she plans every move carefully but gradually falls in love. He Yanci, initially cold and distant, has his closed heart softened by her "enthusiasm" and grows dependent on her. Yet the moment she completes the 20th mission, Ye Xiyao vanishes without a trace as the system commands. Devastated, He Yanci realizes he can't live without this "sudden ray of sunshine". As he scours every memory they shared, he uncovers her secret: her "initiative" was filled with hidden affection and restraint—she feared falling too deep, and even more that he'd hate her if he knew she approached him just to stay alive. When he finds the system's final clue, he understands: her disappearance wasn't an escape—it was the most painful sacrifice she could make for him...
