He avenged his master and returned to treacherous Shanghai, shouldering two missions: to revive the declining prestige of his martial clan and find his long-lost fiancee Shen Qing. On the way, he meets justice-driven female journalist Su Man and alley-fighting skilled dancer A Mei, both hating Japanese atrocities. The three form an alliance, maneuvering through Shanghai's complex underbelly to expose Japanese conspiracies, protect each other, continue chivalric legend in blood-and-fire battles and pursue love's destination.
