Qi Yuan, the genius Daoist of Taixuan Sacred Land and the undisputed next holy leader, accidentally bound to a "Loser Counterattack System" right before his breakthrough ceremony—he must hide his identity and help a designated loser turn their life around to break the bond. The once ethereal Daoist, forced to take off his Taoist robe, goes by the name of "A Yuan" and sneaks into the Liu family in Qingyang City as a servant, targeting Liu Qingmei, the "loser young lady" who was rejected by her fiancé. While helping Liu Qingmei expose her stepsister's frame-up and slap the face of her snobbish ex-fiancé, he also deals with the system's weird requests (like carrying ten vats of water or learning to make osmanthus cake to cheer her up). But as they grow closer, Qi Yuan discovers Liu Qingmei's "loser" status is a disguise—she has a sealed ancient phoenix bloodline, and behind the system's missions, there's a conspiracy against Taixuan Sacred Land. When the cold, arrogant Daoist meets the stubborn "loser," and when his feelings shift from mission to sincerity, is this counterattack journey a trick of fate or a preordained bond?
