After dying from overworking overtime, modern office worker Lin Mo accidentally binds a double-crossing system that lets him freely travel between 2024 and the famine-stricken 1960s. He uses modern snacks and portable gadgets to exchange for scarce food coupons and life-saving medicine, aiming to make a fortune quietly. But he is targeted by the commune party secretary and dragged into a smuggling crisis of life-saving grain. As his trades grow more noticeable, his time-travel secret is at risk of exposure at any moment. Lin Mo must dodge investigations while helping famine victims with modern supplies, with crises and opportunities coexisting on his peddler journey.
