Lin Chuan, an unemployed programmer, endures being fired, cheated on by his girlfriend, and evicted all in one day. Desperate, he hides in an internet café eating instant noodles when his phone suddenly pops up a "One-Yuan Flash Sale System"—pay one yuan, and you can grab a sky-high price item every day. In a fit of recklessness, he tries it and actually receives a limited-edition fountain pen his ex-girlfriend had longed for but couldn't afford. The next day, he secures the key to a downtown apartment. Just as he thinks his life is about to turn around, the system suddenly issues a "mandatory task": all flash sale items must be used to help others, otherwise the system will shut down permanently. Forced to use luxury goods and real estate from the system to help people, Lin Chuan accidentally discovers that every recipient is connected to his missing father, and behind the system lies the truth about his father's sudden disappearance years ago...
