Lin Hao, a poor young man, travels to Dongguan to raise money for his seriously ill mother. On his first day, he stands up to and beats the Tiger Gang's underlings who are bullying a street vendor, only to accidentally get entangled in the gang's power struggle—Boss Su Zhen is critically ill, and his second-in-command Chen Biao is plotting to usurp power, even controlling the factory job Lin Hao desperately needs. Coincidentally, Su Zhen's daughter Su Xiaoyun develops feelings for him because of his righteousness and actively helps him infiltrate the gang to investigate Chen Biao's crimes. When Chen Biao threatens Lin Hao with his mother's life, Lin Hao erupts: he exposes Chen Biao's drug trafficking scheme and defeats him in a life-or-death street race, becoming the new overlord of the Tiger Gang's group in one battle, while winning Su Xiaoyun's love.
