Lin Chuan, a down-and-out high school Chinese teacher, is transferred to Class 7—the "worst class in the school"—and immediately mocked by rebellious student Xia Xiaotang at the classroom door: "A teacher who wastes time like you doesn’t deserve to teach us." Desperate, he accidentally binds to the "Mentor System"—which grants exclusive teaching cheats once he completes "underachiever transformation tasks." To prove himself, Lin makes a bet with Class 7 on the spot: "If we don’t raise the average score by 20 points in the monthly exam, I’ll resign voluntarily." He then uses the system’s customized plans to solve each student’s problems: helping gamer Zhang Lei discover his programming talent, unlocking shy Su Xiao’s writing potential, and even dragging "sports student" Chen Yang back to class… Just as Class 7 climbs to the top 10 in the grade, Xia Xiaotang hands over a new bet—this time, it’s on whether Lin will really stay with Class 7.
