Radar expert Lin Chuan is reborn into his 1975 self, an educated youth插队 in the countryside—only 3 days left before the return-to-city order arrives. In his past life, his wife and daughter fell into despair because of his "cowardice": his wife was besieged by rebels for protecting their daughter, and the little girl was unconscious with a high fever, no medicine available. With his previous life's radar expertise and overwhelming guilt, Lin Chuan must break the fate in 3 days: convince the commune director with professional knowledge to get the transfer order, risk sneaking into the county town to find medicine for his daughter, and even confront the rebel leader he dared not face before. When a modern tech geek meets the predicament of the era, can he rewrite his family's tragedy and let his radar technology shine in the wave of reform?
