Social animal Su Xiaoman is buried in millions of debt after a failed startup. When all hope fades, she activates a family heirloom jade pendant that summons ancient ancestors to “work across time”—a Song Dynasty business tycoon, a Ming Dynasty master craftsman, a Qing Dynasty imperial chef... But their “ancient wisdom” keeps backfiring in modern life: the tycoon ruins a live stream with barter, the craftsman loses customers by insisting on slow work, the chef even tries to slaughter a neighbor’s hen for “authenticity”. While helping them adapt, Su turns her life around with their skills. Yet as summons increase, a family secret in the pendant emerges—are the ancestors here not to work, but to fulfill a redemption spanning millennia?
