Lin Xiaoman, a struggling actress, takes a xianxia drama extra role to pay rent—thinking it’s just wires and plastic swords. But on day one, her “prop sword” roars like a dragon, the “villain’s” spell singes her clothes, and the director grins: “The Chosen Sword Cultivator is here!” Turns out, this “crew” is a hidden immortal sect searching for heirs, and her “prop” is an ancient sword spirit that’s bonded to her. Want to run? The sword spirit clings to her for “cultivation.” The “cold immortal master” (her co-star) tosses her a入门 manual. Even the rude assistant director now kneels and calls her “Little Shishu”! Now she’s stuck with real immortal battles, a clingy sword spirit, and a grumpy immortal who secretly helps. Wait—she signed up for acting, not becoming a real sword immortal!
