Lin Wan, searching for her missing sister, is forced to enter the entertainment industry as "Su Xiao"—a plastic-surgery-altered "vase actress" ridiculed by the public. She reunites with Gu Jingshen, her ex-lover and now a top investigative journalist, at an event—who's chasing clues about her sister's disappearance. Gu stares at her "strange" face, but can't forget the Lin Wan who once took a drink for him. While Lin Wan fends off tricks in the entertainment circle, she hides her secret from Gu's probing. When the "false face" is torn away, will it be the redemption of truth or the collapse of love?
