Fashion designer Lin Wan is suddenly notified of her grandfather's passing and forced to inherit a Taoist temple in the mountains. To safeguard her grandfather's "last wish", she abandons her urban career and returns to the mountain, only to encounter Gu Shen, the "demolition vanguard" sent by the developer—he insists she's an internet celebrity using the temple for publicity and threatens to evict her within three days. However, during their interactions, Gu Shen discovers her grandfather's handwritten journal on ancient building protection hidden in the temple's wall cracks, while Lin Wan finds old photos of her childhood repairing murals with her grandfather. When the demolition team approaches, the two transform from bitter enemies to comrades guarding the temple together. Little do they know, the temple left by her grandfather also holds an old secret about Gu Shen's family giving up the development project years ago...
