Lin Wan, an advertising planner, stumbles into her usual quiet bar after an all-nighter, only to be harassed by a drunk client. Gu Chuan, an investment banking consultant, suddenly steps in to help—he’s wearing the ginkgo brooch Lin Wan lost three years ago, and the warmth in his eyes makes her heart race. But when Gu Chuan keeps “coincidentally” showing up, Lin Wan is convinced it’s a trick. Until she finds an old photo in his wallet: the down-and-out boy she helped in the rain three years ago! Turns out Gu Chuan has long remembered her, and the brooch was her “clue” back then. When misunderstandings clear, Gu Chuan pulls out a love letter he’s kept for three years: “I was afraid you’d think I’m using a pick-up line, even more afraid you’d forgotten me.” They finally confirm their feelings—“Goodbye” is never a farewell, but the courage I’ve saved for three years to say “I like you.”
