Lin Xingwan, a teacher at the "Star Class" of a welfare home, is forced to be the "contract girlfriend" of arrogant CEO Gu Jinhan to save a critically ill child. Gu's real motive? To revenge the "bad kid" who supposedly caused his sister's disappearance years ago. They start as quarreling enemies, but Gu gradually softens to her warmth—until the truth hits: his sister ran away on her own, and Lin was the one who gave her a star-shaped candy to comfort her back then. By the time he realizes his mistake and finds her, a welfare kid holds up a star candy and asks: "Uncle, is this the Star Sister you're looking for?"
