Su Wan, a museum restorer, is suddenly proposed to by the cold CEO Lu Jingshen. She believes it’s fate, but right before the wedding, she uncovers that his “deep affection” is all a scheme—Lu Jingshen wants the ancient painting left by her mother, which holds the truth about the Lu family’s bankruptcy years ago. When Lu Jingshen finally gets the painting, he finds a note from Su Wan’s mother on the back: “To the boy who saved me, if you find this painting, please tell my daughter to believe in love.” Only then does he realize his “scheme” started ten years earlier—he was the homeless boy Su Wan once gave porridge to, and she’d long forgotten. As the truth comes out, Su Wan disappears due to a misunderstanding. How will Lu Jingshen retrieve the girl he’s “planned for” for a decade?
