Lin Xiaoman, a modern office worker, accidentally activates a "cross-time supply system" while working overtime—her snack cabinet can actually connect to the bedroom of Princess Zhaoyue of the Daning Dynasty! Though favored, the princess is trapped in a succession struggle. The first time she transmits, Lin saves the princess from assassins with potato chips; the second time, the princess exchanges pearls for cola but is accused of "hiding foreign objects" by the Empress Dowager, and Lin hurries to send a modern shelf-life explanation to clear her name. As they interact, Lin discovers the princess's loneliness beneath her glory, and the princess comes to rely on this "little friend from the fairy world". But the system suddenly alerts: "Connection will disconnect after the full moon"—how can she help the princess escape a forced marriage in limited time, and confess, "I'm not a fairy—I just want to eat snacks with you for a lifetime"?
