Zhou Yuanqing, a reclusive Xuanmen elder, is shattered by the news of his disciple Lin Xiaoman's death—his beloved "daughter" was drowned by a Xuanmen aristocratic family on false charges of "stealing a treasure." Enraged, he descends the mountain only to find Xuanmen has long rotted: aristocratic heirs kill without mercy, ordinary disciples are bullied, and Xiaoman's true cause of death is tightly covered up. Crushing his dust whisk, Zhou realizes his century-old cultivation isn't for hiding! As he uncovers the truth—Xiaoman was silenced for exposing the family's evil spirit trafficking scheme—he wields his staff against Xuanmen's unjust rules, vowing to avenge his disciple and tear down the cannibalistic sky oppressing all marginalized Xuanmen members!
