Su Wanwan, a reserved architectural designer, bursts into the private reception on Wangjing Tower’s top floor to save an elderly man with a sudden asthma attack. She mistakes Fu Jingshen—a腹黑 CEO in a foul mood after a tough acquisition—for the old man’s caregiver, pleading tremblingly: “Uncle, please help me find the inhaler!” Fu Jingshen, usually cold and calculating, is stunned by the woman’s red-rimmed eyes and firm grip on the elderly. He hands her his mint candy: “Take this first, I’ll call a doctor.” Su Wanwan tries to move on, but Fu Jingshen clings to her—giving limited-edition architecture books, delivering warm taro balls during overtime, and even saying casually to a rude client: “Who dares to bully someone under my wing?” It’s only when she finds a photo of herself from a construction exhibition three years ago in Fu Jingshen’s office that she realizes: this “misidentification” is nothing but his long-planned trap for love.
