Su Wan, a female CEO of a modern chain restaurant group, stayed up late negotiating a contract—only to wake up as a miserable fisher girl in 1975 Donghai Fishing Village. Orphaned and exploited by her uncle, she didn’t even have a complete set of clothes. To escape, she targeted Gu Jingyuan, a “capitalist young master” who fled to the village—rumor had it he hid the password to overseas assets. She tricked him into her home with the excuse of “saving his life,” but found this thin man could do accounts, repair boats, and silently hand her hot porridge when she was scolded. Gu Jingyuan also discovered this “rude” fisher girl could make French baked snails, turn old fishing nets into trendy aprons, and her eyes held a light he’d never seen. When village gossip surges and Gu’s enemies arrive, will they run away with their secrets, or turn the broken fishing boat into a “sea restaurant” and build their own little world in the 70s?
