A Ruan, a young Taoist from the Underworld, was banished to the mortal world by the King of Hell for stealing Meng Po's Soup. Her mission: make Gu Yan, the God of War Prince, fall in love with her sincerely—only then can she return. But Gu Yan is notorious as the "Wife-Killing Yama" in the capital; his first three wives died mysteriously, and he avoids women like plague. A Ruan clings to him with metaphysical tricks: drawing talismans to break his battle curses, fortune-telling to evade assassins, even sleeping on his bedroom floor. What started as a mission turned into real love when Gu Yan took a flying arrow for her and tucked her quilt at night. Just as they confessed their feelings, the Underworld's Soul Summoning Order arrived—if she doesn't return on time, she'll be annihilated. Will she choose her Underworld roots, or the love of her life?
