Lin Yu and Wen Wan are childhood sweethearts. When Lin Yu went overseas for further study at a young age, he left Wen Wan waiting alone. For fifteen years, Lin Yu has seen exotic landscapes, but always misses the lamp by Wen Wan's window that waited for him at night; Wen Wan has hidden her love in her diary, waiting for an appointment with no return date for fifteen years. When Lin Yu returns with his belated love, he finds Wen Wan about to accept another person's confession. Will this fifteen-year-long wait end in fulfillment or regret?
