A down-on-his-luck young marshal is hunted by his enemies and collapses injured on the street. A struggling street vendor spots the generous government bounty on his head and saves him. She immediately uses the reward money to open her own shop. After recovering, the marshal tracks her down, abandons his stern military demeanor and relentlessly confesses his love.
