Lin Xiaoman, a stubborn kitten-like convenience store worker, accidentally saves top star Lu Shiyan from a fan mob and breaks into his glamorous yet lonely world. With hot milk tea warming his stomach and late-night lights comforting his heart, she melts the ice in his soul little by little, thinking she’s finally “caught” her own moon. But when Xiaoman gathers the courage to hand him a love letter, Lu Shiyan suddenly drifts away and even announces his engagement publicly. It’s not until she finds his terminal illness diagnosis and an unsent letter—his “push away” was to keep his darkness from tainting her light. This love story between the kitten and the moon is filled with regret from the start: she tries her best to get close, while he tries his best to push her back into the sunshine.
