Senior HR Lin Wanci is transferred to the company's most marginalized "Public Welfare Project Department" for refusing the senior management's unspoken rules. Planning to slack off, she meets Su Xiaotang, a new employee demoted for being "too earnest"—a girl who even argues with suppliers cutting corners over printing and drags her to save the dying rural children's library project. Amid headquarters' sneers and budget cuts, and the kids' handwritten pleas, they go from bickering to collaborating: staying up late to revise plans, camping out for sponsors, even paying expenses out of their own pockets... At the project launch, when the kids smile holding new books, Lin Wanci realizes: the "workplace corner" is never a place to bury light, but soil for sincerity to grow—and those who once bullied them are watching their counterattack with green faces.
