Lin Wanwan, a modern girl, fights to save her grandmother's old opera troupe house, "Raoliang Troupe". She stumbles upon a kite-flower-embroidered handkerchief and a half-written letter from her grandma—mentioning a "Raoliang Terrace Pact" with someone named "A Zhao". Just then, Gu Zhao, an ancient architecture restorer, shows up to buy the house for a cultural and creative park demolition. From clashing to teaming up to find "Raoliang Terrace", they discover Gu Zhao's grandfather's diary in an old costume trunk: Fifty years ago, "Sister Yuan" (Wanwan's grandma), the troupe's leading actress, and Gu Mingyuan, an architecture apprentice, were forced apart by the troupe's demolition. And "Raoliang Terrace" was their dream joint project of "opera house + bookstore". As two generations' regrets overlap, Wanwan must save the troupe and fulfill her grandma's uncompleted promise—yet Gu Zhao's "purchase contract" hangs like a thorn between them...
