Lin Xiaoman, an unemployed new media editor, is shocked by a platform notification—her inactive account, unused for half a year, has sent a 500,000-yuan tip to food streamer "Wanxing"! Even more bizarre: every recipe from Wanxing is a signature dish of Lin’s mother, who vanished three years ago. To uncover the truth, Lin disguises herself as a fan to get close to streamer Shen Wan—only to find a notebook filled with her childhood memories in Shen’s home. Just then, a detective investigating fraud arrives, revealing the 500,000 yuan is a money-laundering channel for a criminal ring. And the bombshell: Shen Wan’s ID is identical to the one Lin’s mother used right before she disappeared. A fog of "identity" begins to lift, one live stream at a time.
