Lin Xiaoman collapses after her boyfriend Chen Mo's accidental death, only to gain the chance to “go back in time a hundred times.” She tries repeatedly to rewrite the ending—picking Chen Mo up from work early, hiding his car keys, even forcing him to stay home—but Chen Mo always “accurately” runs into accidents. Until the 99th time, Lin Xiaoman finds Chen Mo's diary: he had long known he would die, and all “coincidences” were his way of pushing her away to protect her. For the last choice, Lin Xiaoman doesn't change anything anymore. Instead, she spends the “day he most wanted to spend with her” as he planned, realizing love isn't about扭转 fate, but about saying goodbye properly.
