Lin Xiaoman, a naive and cheerful girl selling wontons at the old alley, runs her stall to fulfill her late mother's wish. One day, she saves Shen Mo, the "Ghost Blade"—a once-feared assassin now covered in wounds and on the run from enemies—with a bowl of hot wontons. To repay her kindness, Shen Mo stays to help at the stall, but his presence drags Xiaoman into jianghu grudges: former enemies track them down, the wonton stall is vandalized repeatedly, and someone even tries to kill Xiaoman. Between the ordinary warmth of mortal life and the bloody jianghu vengeance, how will Xiaoman protect her mother's legacy? Can Shen Mo find his original intention of wandering the world with a sword in the smoke of mortal life?
