Lin Yang, a top surgeon in the big city, retired to his hometown after a medical accident and opened a small clinic in a poor mountain village. At first, the villagers saw him as a "fraud"—village doctor Zhao Jianguo squeezed him at every turn, and Aunt Wang even refused to let him treat her grandson with a 40°C fever. Until left-behind child Xiao Yu suffered from acute intestinal obstruction and the hospital ambulance was delayed, Lin Yang saved the child with his family's acupuncture and emergency surgery, finally breaking the prejudice. But just as he gained a foothold, Zhao Jianguo spread rumors that he "made dirty money from fake medicine". However, Su Xiaoqing, a volunteer teacher, accidentally found Lin Yang's hidden international medical award certificates... The truth of his retirement, the villain's schemes, and their growing affection are all quietly unfolding in this small village.
