Qing Yao, the top flower deity in the Immortal Realm, was exiled to the mortal world by the Heavenly Emperor for refusing to “abandon love to become immortal”. She must collect 99 drops of “sincere human tears” to return. Assuming the name Xiao Yao, she stumbles into the loneliest “Hui Chun Tang” clinic in the capital and meets Shen Mo, a sarcastic and nitpicky owner—this man who always mocks her “can’t even recognize herbs” actually takes a fatal hit for her when she’s surrounded by immortal pursuers, and secretly picks evening primroses from the yard when she misses the Immortal Realm. But when she collects the 98th tear, Qing Yao is shocked to discover: Shen Mo is actually Ah Zhu, the fairy boy who sacrificed himself to block the thunder calamity for her a thousand years ago! And the Heavenly Emperor’s “punishment” is actually a plot to erase all her memories of Ah Zhu… This time, she refuses to be a loveless immortal anymore—even if she has to stay in the mortal world forever, she will hold onto this true love that’s spanned a thousand years.
