Lin Chuan, a 600-year-old immortal, is the only one of his kind from the Ming Dynasty. From Hongwu's founding to Chongzhen's death on Coal Hill, he witnessed the rise and fall of sixteen emperors, but had to hide as a "tea shop regular" due to his immortality secret. Until a "Wanli Palace Banquet Painting" appeared at the Forbidden City restoration site——Concubine Zheng, who was toasting him in the painting, looked exactly like Su Wan, a young restorer. Moreover, the half-broken jade pendant around Su Wan's neck was the token of love he gave away back then. When past regrets crash into present life and the secret of immortality is about to be uncovered, Lin Chuan must choose between "hiding his identity" and "making up for regrets": this time, can he hold the person he failed to protect in his past life?
