Lin Bodhi, a lay disciple of Zhaojue Temple, guards a 300-year-old bodhi tree with a temperament as cold and clear as moonlight through leaves. Her peaceful life is disrupted by Gu Xingyao, a capital playboy who breaks in for a bet to "steal bodhi seeds"—only to have his heart flutter at Bodhi's gaze. From then on, he lingers daily, bringing sugar paintings and lantern fair stories, turning the quiet temple lively. But when the truth of "approaching for a bet" is exposed, Bodhi's budding feelings freeze instantly. She tries to drive him away, but Gu shouts with red eyes: "I lost the bet, but won my true heart for you!" Can their affection survive the lie?
