Chen Erniu, a street rascal in the 1980s, is awakened by the factory flower he adores calling him "unreliable". With 30 yuan from selling his old bike, he dives into business. Chased by urban management while摆摊, sabotaged by competitors selling electronic watches, and cheated out of payment by his buddy—he fights back with "rascal smarts": bargaining like a vegetable market scold, building trust by fixing appliances for neighbors, even turning overstock into "wedding candy boxes" for his first fortune. When those who called him "mud" beg to cooperate, and the factory flower hands him hot food blushing, Chen realizes: A comeback isn’t about being "good"—it’s turning his rascalness into the deadliest survival weapon.
