Lin Chuan, a top architecture graduate, goes undercover as a site technician to investigate his father’s engineering accident. When female CEO Shen Zhixia arrives for an unannounced inspection, Lin mistakes her for a new intern and forces her to carry bricks. From "deliberate orders" to carrying cement and fixing loose guardrails together, Shen discovers this "grumpy technician" is actually thoughtful—he remembers workers’ stomach issues and secretly reinforces dangerous spots. Lin also notices the "clumsy intern" can spot blueprint flaws instantly. When identities are revealed, Lin breaks into a cold sweat holding a cement-stained blueprint, but Shen hands him a wet wipe with a smile: "Come to my office tomorrow—let’s talk about your father’s accident... and I owe you for the brick-carrying."
