Forensic scientist Su Wan meets the mysterious Gu Jingshen at a murder scene—his face is identical to the general in the "past-life dreams" she’s had for a decade. Even more eerie: the victim clutches a jade pendant, exactly the general’s personal item from her dreams—and Gu Jingshen is the prime suspect. As past memories resurface, she recalls being a healer who took a sword for him in wartime, while he died regretful over a misunderstanding. But why is he at the crime scene now? Is it a past-life obsession, or a trap? Caught between love and truth, can they break the cycle of karma?
