Su Xiaotang, a single mother running her own business, struggles to balance work and her daughter Xiaonuomi. One day, Xiaonuomi accidentally orders a "daddy" service on a second-hand app using her mom's phone—only to have Gu Jinhan, a cold and elite CEO, show up at their door. Gu is actually there to compete with Su's company, but Xiaonuomi immediately clings to him calling "Daddy". Gu decides to stay to sabotage Su's business, but as he joins Xiaonuomi's birthday party and helps Su through crises, he's gradually warmed by the mother-daughter duo's warmth. Meanwhile, Su is torn between guarding against his "schemes" and falling for his gentleness... When the "fake daddy" develops real feelings, can they overcome misunderstandings and become a real family?
