Wei Lingyao, heir to a Nanyin troupe, plays Nanyin nightly to defend his grandfather’s old house from demolition teams. Xu Yuan, a documentary director, sneaks in to film "disappearing intangible cultural heritage" but is mistaken for a "demolition spy." From clashes to late-night music sessions, they discover Xu was healed by Wei’s grandfather’s Nanyin as a child. For Wei, the house isn’t just bricks—it’s his grandfather’s last wish and Nanyin’s very root. When the final demolition order comes, can their shared love for Nanyin save the house… and each other?
