Down-and-out painter Lin Shen has been drawing a "faceless woman" for three years. One day, a girl named Gu Xiaoman—who looks exactly like the woman in his paintings—bursts into his gallery. She claims to be the "unfinished soul" from Lin Shen's brush, and only when he paints her face can she "live". But when Lin Shen tries to pick up the brush, painful fragmented memories flash through his mind: a car accident, his girlfriend's cries, the white sheets in a hospital... It turns out Gu Xiaoman isn't a "painting soul"—she's his ex-girlfriend, whom he selectively forgot due to trauma! Years ago, they were in a car accident; Gu Xiaoman fell into a coma saving him, and Lin Shen, overwhelmed by guilt, sealed her into his paintings. Now, Gu Xiaoman's consciousness has entered the painting world to find him, forcing him to face the past—will he hide in the painting forever, or pick up the brush to wake his lover?
