Former actress Shi Yueyue is "kept" in a private villa by CEO Zhang Yilun after an accident, becoming the "caged canary" in the eyes of the outside world. She hates the controlled life, but during daily interactions, she notices the abnormality behind Zhang Yilun's indifference—he hides an old photo of her saving a little boy ten years ago.
