Ordinary chef Lin Xiaoman takes up high-end custom takeout jobs to pay for her grandma's life-saving surgery. Her first delivery brings her face-to-face with Gu Yanchen, the notoriously picky CEO of the Gu Group. The fried rice she delivers in a fluster not only burns Gu Yanchen, but also awakens the dusty memories of the usually cold-eyed CEO -- the taste is exactly the same as his late first love Su Wan's signature dish. After that, Gu Yanchen keeps ordering all of Lin Xiaoman's takeout orders out of the blue. The two go from bickering and misunderstanding to developing deep affection for each other, but unexpectedly, Gu Yanchen's assistant reveals that Su Wan's death back then is closely linked to Lin Xiaoman's grandma, kicking off a tense tug-of-war between love and hidden truth.
