Lin Xiaoman, a penniless senior, is in despair over tuition and his grandma’s hospital fees when he accidentally opens the “Interstellar Connector” app—which links him directly to an alien wasteland! He brings back glowing alien grass, sells it as a rare succulent for good money, and thinks he’s found a lifeline. But every alien resource he takes speeds up his “personal time”: his thesis deadline jumps three days ahead, his grandma’s illness seems “fast-forwarded,” and worst of all, a boy in a hoodie from the alien “Resource Bureau” comes to revoke his “Earth residency rights” to pay off the “resource debt”! Lin juggles selling alien trinkets to save his grandma, hides his secret (lying to his roommate that his new laptop is from “game boosting”), and struggles to choose between “saving his family” and “stopping time from running out”—little does he know, the alien boy has long been eyeing his special ability to “stably connect to the alien world”…
