Career elite Lin Wei returns to the old street for her grandmother's funeral, only to encounter Gu Chen—her first love who vanished seven years ago, the man who abruptly ended their relationship. Now, he's the "keeper" of her grandmother's old villa, working as a watchmaker surrounded by relics of the past. The stopped hands of their couple's watch and an unposted letter from her grandmother slowly uncover the truth behind Gu Chen's "escape": he secretly signed an organ donation agreement to fund her grandmother's surgery, leaving silently to avoid burdening Lin Wei. When Gu Chen holds the restored watch and confesses, "I never let go," Lin Wei's engagement ring slips from her bag—can seven years of regret be overcome by the rekindled heartbeat between them?
