Lin Shen, a socially anxious independent bookstore owner, lives a monotonous life with his cat "Dafu" surrounded by books—until Su Xiaoxuan, a vibrant pet blogger, crashes into his world to film a "Cats in Bookstores" feature. Xiaoxuan's enthusiasm pierces his protective shell; Lin Shen secretly leaves her fresh lemon tea every day, but his clumsy words make her think he's "cold."
