Top masked dancer Lin Wantang retired for love to marry poor boy Lu Jingshen, only to face brutal betrayal: her husband's infidelity and her daughter being brainwashed by the mistress to call the other woman "mom". Twenty years later, she put down her apron and returned to the stage as "Dark Rose", her breathtaking dance shocking everyone. Sitting in the audience, Lu Jingshen stared at his ex-wife—now shining like a star—and finally realized he'd lost the most precious light in his life. He then launched a crazy campaign to win her back, but Lin Wantang was no longer the naive girl who compromised for love. Is this pursuit a true repentance, or just a refusal to let go of possession?
