On the fifth day of the Lunar New Year, Lin Xiaoman, a working-class girl, hits a "crazy man" on her way to a part-time job—turns out he’s Zhao Gongming, the God of Wealth banished to the mortal world! He was supposed to grant Lin Xiaoman "koi luck" (good fortune), but the God of Poverty stole his magical artifact, leaving him powerless. Worse, if he doesn’t live with his "blessing target" (Lin Xiaoman) permanently, he’ll vanish in three days! One’s a poor girl drowning in rent debt, the other a useless god who can’t even cook instant noodles—they’re forced to team up: evading the God of Poverty’s tricks while earning enough "merit money" to send him back to heaven. But as they bond, Lin Xiaoman realizes: this smooth-talking "loser" seems to have quietly stolen her heart?
