Modern medical doctor Lin Xia transmigrates to a Qing Dynasty plague-stricken village. She saves a villager from being burned as a "plague carrier", but villagers label her a "plague god"—five deaths happened right after her sudden arrival. Hiding in a broken temple, she uses her phone’s medical guide to make herbal medicine and secretly treats sick kids. When the village chief’s mother struggles to breathe, she saves her with a ventilator made from a bellows and cloth. Villagers finally realize: the "disaster" they stoned is a "divine doctor" with modern medicine. Showing her medical diploma, villagers kneel in tears. A temple painting reveals a woman in a white coat—exactly like her. She’s here to fulfill a past life’s uncompleted mission: saving the village.
